Isn't God Amazing!

I apologize for the long spell since posting here. I am feeling the pressure of time and am using that as my weak excuse for not posting. But, last night right before dinner I went around the base and took more pictures of things I love to look at while I'm here. I received at least three new bug bites on my legs as a result, but it was well worth it. I hope you enjoy them. I know I will seer them into my memory for those long busy days this year teaching 7th grade. I am not ready to leave this place, but am so looking forward to coming home and seeing all of you. I am also looking forward to Sunday morning worship with my church family at RMBC : D I can't wait to share!

As you look at these pictures PLEASE click on them to see the fine details of each one. You won't regret it. I promise :)
I love how a palm tree looks as the trunk transitions to the new growth. It's like a giant reed that grows by the water. Isn't God amazing!
These next three pictures are of the same flowers. I just love looking at them everyday. They are so intricate in detail. They are so beautiful! Different aspects catch my eye at every angle. Isn't God Amazing!

This flower is like a rose on steroids! I love the contrast of beauty and elegance, yet aggressive thorns abound! This flower deserves recognition and respect in equal portions. Isn't God amazing!
I noticed this little guy on the face of a step. He looks like someone flattened him. That would be God. He was made this way. They don't stir very easily, but when they do they move fast! This one is about the diameter of a quarter. I saw one once about twice that size but didn't have my camera. Here he is again but close up. Notice the detail that went into this creature. In this one spider is more intricacy than man could ever duplicate. Look at everything right down to the little cilia on the trailing edge of his little legs! Isn't God amazing!
Studying the side of a tree reveals loads of beauty. This is a tiny fern sprouting among lichen and moss clinging to the bark of a tree. This is only a couple inches of an large tree covered with multiple types of fauna. In my opinion, no artificial flower arrangement can hold a candle to this one. Isn't God amazing!
I'm ending with this little fella. They are everywhere and I never tire of noticing them. I also love their close relative the green anole, which can be brown too. I wonder what this little guy would say if he could talk to me? He kept a watchful eye on me and scurried around the tree when I came closer than his comfort level. Isn't God amazing!

Well that's it for now. I will try and post at least one more time before I leave for the airport at 6am Saturday, August 7. Isn't God Amazing!

  1. Randy, LOVE your pix. I especially like the one of the flower among thorns. In my opinion, it's a picture of our world. Touched by sin but flowers abound as seen in God's handprint on our world. I look forward to seeing you Saturday! Love, mom

  2. Thanks for the comments mom! I love knowing how these posts/pics have effected people. I could go on and on with analogies in nature compared to all things God. I love the same picture and think of the world and even my own life.
